Food Truck Project

This was a project that started back in Spring semester 2015. The project started with pulling city names from a hat(mine ended up being Nashville Tennessee. From there, I had create, design and brand a food truck intended for use in that city.

I had several ideas at first, but ended up settling on bringing something a little foreign into the mix. Nashville is a really hot place, but going with a basic ice cream or shaved ice truck is honestly a tad boring. So as a compromise, I decided instead to go with Kakigōri, which is a Japanese take on shaved ice – which uses condensed milk as an added base, giving it a much more ice cream texture. Since it’s a little more “up-scale” compared to normal shaved ice, and for sake of pun/recognition, I chose to name the truck “KakiGourmet.”
